Self-compassion is an important part of wellness and an effective tool for enhancing performance. \nSelf-compassion entails being intentional about caring for one’s wellbeing and focusing on growth when there are challenges. Once a well-established wellness plan is in place\, the next step is working with the team so they can be aware of their own needs with respect to mental wellness. The course is taught by a law enforcement officer and a mental health professional with experience working with law enforcement professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to mental health & wellness.
