Eric Oldenburg retired from the Phoenix Police Department in 2018 after 24 years of service. The last 15 years of his career, he was assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Federal Task Force where he worked as an investigator and a certified computer forensic examiner.

From 2018 until 2023, Eric worked for Griffeye as a Law Enforcement Liaison officer and Software Evangelist. Griffeye develops software for child crimes investigators to help identify known child exploitation material, reduce their exposure to this harmful material and help locate victims.
